PE Wax Additive for Paraffin and Soy Waxes The Epolene waxes are used to raise the melt point, lock in oil (Frag), give shine to pillar candles & add toughness to wax blends. EPOLENE® wax additives are the solution to preserving candle quality by creating a high degree of uniformity when added to formulations containing paraffin wax. Specifically, EPOLENE® increases the homogeneity of crystalline regions within the candle, which are responsible for imparting fragrance and burn. The result is a candle that burns longer and more evenly and maintains fragrance throughout. Great additive to soy pillar candles. Raises melt point of 150 wax to 160 wax. For raising melt point we recommend 1 oz per pound of wax. quote from supplier...
