Each candle is completely hand made in Berkeley, California using a technique inspired by the Venetian Milleflore Art Glass proccess. Sheets of colored wax are rolled into rods, bundled together and then stretched. This procedure is repeated several times until the desired patterns are achieved. The rods are then cut into thin slices which are wrapped around a core of warm clear wax and hand sculpted into the final shape. When the candle burns the flame will illuminate the color patterns giving a glowing effect. The further down it burns the better it will glow. The small and large ball candles may be refilled with a 10hr votive.
