Swans Candles Natural Encaustic Damar Medium is a great product for a competitive price. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I am pleased with the Encaustic Medium and always enjoy working with Swans.

Swans Encaustic Damar Medium (Regular) is mixed here at our shop. We try to keep our inventory fully stocked but at times we do run out quickly. Good thing we mix it here! Our Encaustic Damar Medium is 85% White naturally refined beeswax and 15% Natural Damar resin crystals. Swans Encaustic Damar Medium is filtered and available in many different sizes. Encaustic Damar Medium is one of the most durable mediums and blends easily with pigments and other waxes. Other waxes or additives are not required only optional. Damar can be added in various proportions for different textures, appearance and usage. 10 Lbs comes in 10, 1 lb blocks. Call for larger quantity deals and custom recipes. Because our Mediums are made with all Natural products, shade can vary by batch. We call this our Regular as it is in between in Damar content and is our most popular recipe. We put a pound of medium in a plastic bag and then put piece of cardboard over it and wack it with rubber mallet from Home Depot to break into pieces.
